iPhone Apps
The apps currntly on my iPhone include Bible, BoxOffice, Facebook, Flashlight, NearPics, PhoneSaber, Remote, Shazam, and SnapMyLife.
Some of these are completly worthless like SnapMyLife and PhoneSaber, but some I love like Shazam and Bible. Bible is the iPhone Apps verson of Lifechurch.tv's You Version and Shazam is a music identifier and music tagger.
Others like Remote is a WiFi remote for iTunes and Apple TV.
I'm going to try and keep you up to date on others and apps upcoming so check back soon.

The Dark Knight
Last night I went on the spur of the moment to the Carmike 10 in Stillwater and watched The Dark Knight. Now for those of you who don't know it is the new batman movie that came out this month, staring Heath Ledger as the Joker and Christian Bale as Batman. I had some doubts about the movie going in, one being it seemed a little dark for Batman, but after geting into the movie you dont even notice.
My usuall movie experience is I go into the theater and dont even watch the movie for the story, I try and see how that scene was cut and how that effect was done. The Dark Knight was not his way at all, as I walked into the theater I was excited to try and figure out how stuff was done, but after about just a few minutes I found myself just watching a movie for a movie.
All around it is probably the best movie I have seen since either Oceans 13 or The Bourne Ultimatum, which is saying allot.

The Downpour Media Shoot
Last weekend was crazy. And when I say crazy I mean it. Friday I got to Del City at about 4pm and we shot baseball for about four hours. After finally going to sleep at around midnight thirty (12:30am) we woke up at 7am Saturday morning, and at 9 we left to go and film the soccer games at 1pm we got food and headed back to baseball and finished up at about 6pm.
That night I went to the apple store in Penn Square and got personally walked into the store by an employee that I knew, and granted I wasn't purchasing an iPhone 3g but I did get some great looks form the people in line.
Sunday we got back to work, with basketball at 9:30am till about noon, then it was back over to baseball. We ended the weekend exhausted and tired and I can thank Marshal Burgtorff for a fun and tiring weekend.
On a side note Grant Downy uploaded an amazing video to vimeo that I thought should be shared with you all.

There Back
Trip to Norman and the JVC HD110
Today I made a trip up to Norman, OK. The purpose of that visit was to view and play with a Panasonic HVX200b, to the uniformed this is a Panasonic HD P2 video camera. When I got to the store I saw one then the guy started telling me all about the JVC shoulder mounted HD cameras. I'm not a huge fan of shoulder mounts bout I thought I'd give it a look. When he brought it out it was a lot lighter and more stream lined than I had pictured it. After talking for almost 2 hours he had me totally convinced on the JVC over the Panasonic, and I know you might be saying that he just wanted to make a larger commission, but the catch is that the JVC actual costs less, by almost $1,000.00 and it has greater functionality, including still recording to the same tapes I currently use.
On the Way back it pored down rain, and I snaped what I thought was a cool little pic. (Top)

The 4th Pictures
Catch Yall Up
I decided to update everybody on whats going on as I'm sitting watching my footage get processed through Color.
The picture off to the left is my set up at Main Office H2OChurch.tv and currently what I have been looking at for the last about 10 hours getting this video done.
As a side note I created a Flickr account, but I don't have any pics up yet. You can follow the link off to the right titled "My Flickr." I'll let everyone know when I get some pictures up. Also I'm going to upload the second At the Movies promo I did to Vimeo either tonight or tommorow so b shure to be on the lookout for that.
Only 4 more days untill iPhone 2.0 firmware update and I'm extreemly excided to see what kinds of cool litle programs they are going to have for the consumer ie. me to friter there money away on.
Another little side note is that I only have 41 more days untill I have to start colledge at OSU back in Stillwater. I have some mixed feeling on this and am still not shure if I want to go with griffic desighn or Mechanical Engeneering. And to all of you asking yes I have declared ME but that can allways change.

Vimeo And the Reel
Some of you may not know but there is an incredible site out there called Vimeo. Vimeo is a video website that is for professionals and people who create there own stuff. Mine is http://www.vimeo.com/skylarsch so go check it out. Vimeo is an incredible site, because it doesn't limit you on the quality of your video, the only set back to this is that it won't allow you to upload more than 500mb a week.
Also as a side note I will have a Show Reel coming out soon that you can check out at my Vimeo and I'll also embed it into a blog post coming up, so be on the look out for that.
