My Life Update

I'm headed back to Ada tomorrow after I get my tire on the truck looked at and I also need to get a spare tire and rim.
Well the first picture is the sunrise on the way up Abaline KS. The second is of the LifeChurch.tv Bling building where the magic of LC productions happens. I took the picture after we stoped for Saturday night experience at the Edmond OK campus for the final week of One Prayer at LifeChurch.tv. Also to come, i will post some cscreen shots of The ATM 08 series at H2OChurch.tv. Due to copy wright laws we will not be able to post the whole series. In closing keep it real and remember to allways look for scooterists before changing lanes to keep all of those people safe.

Quiet Sight

Yesterday I traveled to Oklahoma city to assist Quiet Sight Productions (Casey) shoot a session with Quinn Schipper for Oikos. The shoot went well and from the camera I was on I thought we got some great footage for Casey to put togeter. The session we shot was an inner healing ministry session that Quinn facilitated. The session was the first ever that was done infront of a crowed and I thought it went very well, but what do I know.
Afterwards I went with Casey and Marshal over to Caseys mother in laws house and went over some stuff. Well thats about it on that I've got another post that im gonna wright now just about random stuff so we'll see where that takes us.

ATM Update/Catch up

The first one is in the bag and is exporting as I type this post, just three more to go so we'll see how that all goes.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while but life has been crazy, and I don't have as much down time at my computer as I used to. Also as the summer progresses I am learning so much more about video and editing. It is fun because I have allot of stuff that I can work and play with, and try stuff so I'm excited about what I can accomplish and do here in Ada.

Firefox 3.0

Well Firefox 3.0 is finally here, with more new features than you can shake a stick at. They said it was going to be faster and all but I didn't realize that it would actually be noticeable and all but it is very noticeable. The first time I opened it the new design looks incredible and the whole presentation is better. Now on the other hand some of my addons weren't compatible but I'll manage to get by. In my professional opinion it is a definitely a great program and a deffinate download.

Washed the Truck

I also got the truck washed and cleaned out and am currently waiting on the washing machine to finish so I can get a new load in but hey. So I'm going back to Ada and don't know when I'll be back this summer. I do know that I have to be back by August 18 to start School, but I'm sure that I'll be back some time, it all just kinda depends on what type of job I can get, but I digress.
The truck got cleaned out so I'm gonna have clean cloths now which is always nice. I actually washed the interior of the truck which looks nice now but I still didn't vacuum the carpets but who cares, there just gona get dirty again soon.

OSU Enrollment

Today I officially enrolled at Oklahoma State University. It went good, it just took fore ever and was really boring except for the skits.
Next semester I have 15 credit hours which amounts to five classes. I am currently enrolled in:
M,T,W,TH,F - Algebra & Trig (yes the class meets five times a week.)
M,W - American History
W - Intro to Engineering
T,TH - Comp1
T,TH - American Government

So all of that is good cause M,W,F the earliest class is at 11:30am and on T,TH the earliest is 9:30am. Still a bit early but I figure I can survive.

Apple store trip.

Well I made a trip to the apple store today. So I met my dad at Penn Square Mall in OKC and we ate lunch up at the food court before heading down to the apple store for our respective appointments.

I had an appointment at the genius bar to see if I could get my cd/dvd burner to work but it didn't and the guy behind the bar wanted to send my MBP of to Huston TX to get fixed, but I just can't give it up right now, so I'm just gonna have to give it up sometime soon though. I mean dont get me wrong there are great people at apple in Huston but I just have to much that ha to get done right now.

Well hopefully when i do end up sending it down and get a now optical drive, I hope that they give me a super drive that can burn DLDVD's. The only reason that I could think that this would happen is I'm not sure that they make the non Dual Layer kind any more so they could just give me the new one, but i geus that we'll just have to wait and see.

Life is getting busy.

Well as some of you may know I have come down to Ada, OK to get a summer job and help my cousin in the H2O media department. Well as we get ramped up for then new series called At The Movies I realized that this is a huge undertaking and that I hope to see it come all together soon. There are tones of video ideas and visions being thrown around for "ATM08" Promos but still we need more time than we are given in a day so well see how it all goes depending on everyones schedules we should be coming out alright.
Also the image above is a proto type logo i desighned for H2O so we'll see if that actually becomes an official logo, but it still is one of the favorites of the Creative team.

The New Truck

Well I recently became the new owner of a '98 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 and it is and incredible truck. It only has a grand total of 70,000 miles on it and with a 5.9L V8 it gets surprisingly good gas mileage, about 16mpg in town and 18-19mpg on the highway but unfortunately going back and forth between Stillwater and Ada I'm only getting about 12mpg because of 177 being so freekin hilly.

Yes I have gotten it muddy a few times but nothing to serious... yet.

Yes there are some thing I want to do to it, like get a grill guard and some more agressive tires but all of that still will come sometime in the future, hopefully.

Life Group Promo 6/9/08

This is possibly the new H2OChurch.tv Life groups promo that I did in FCP6 using old footage and digital juice Sound FX and built in FCP Effects.
It took around half an hour to get everything lined out and rough cut then another 4-5 hours to get the effects and sound effects just right.

Family Blood

Well as some of you may know I have been working on a script for a short film, titled Family Blood.

It is the action story of an ex-marine that was discharged after an incident in fabulous Los Vegas. On his return home he needs some money and gets involved with a mysterious man, and mixed up in some pretty messed up stuff. As the story goes along there are numerous backstabbing and a couple quick twists that are not expected.

Don't expect to see this at you local theater but hopefully you might be able to see it someday. Right now I'm waiting on some of the more bigger issues ie. money and time.

This video is a short video I did for Apple Insomnia Film Festival and is the inspiration to the story.

My First Time

Well here goes. I'm trying out the whole blogging thing as a way to get some thoughts out there and also to post some of my graphic work for feed back. I also have some of my youtube videos to see so check those out and give me some feedback to.
